Mr. Dolina has practiced in business and employment law, personal injury, workers’ compensation and professional malpractice litigation.

He has represented clients in transactional matters, as well as maintained an active trial practice. He has had substantial trial experience before the Maryland District Courts, Circuit Courts, and the Federal District Courts. Mr. Dolina is a member of the Bar in Maryland, West Virginia and Colorado. He was also a member of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the Fourth Circuit.

With significant experience in alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Dolina has worked with the American Arbitration Association, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, FINRA and the National Arbitration Forum. He also serves as a private arbitrator and is a certified mediator for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County and Frederick County. He is also a mediator for the U.S. Postal Service’s EEO office. Mr. Dolina has been a frequent lecturer for the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers and has contributed to mediation and arbitration programs. He currently represents Baltimore County Public Schools employees and Harford County Public School principals , assisting in contract negotiation, grievances, and contract administration .Additionally, Mr. Dolina has authored publications and articles on Employment issues for both private and public sectors and has lectured topics for the National Business Institute.

Mr. Dolina has handled very difficult and complex litigation matters., requiring special skills in negotiation and persuasion .

Mr. Dolina remains active within the Maryland State Bar Association. In 2009, Mr. Dolina was elected to the Board of Governors of the Maryland State Bar Association with a term expiring at the end of 2011 and was re-elected in 2013 and again in 2023 . Mr. Dolina was elected to three standing committees within the Maryland State Bar Association; Planning, Continuing Legal Education, and Budget and Finance. He was voted to the Section Council for the Alternative Dispute Resolution section of the Maryland State Bar Association and served as its chair in 2007-2008. While chair, the section received the award for “Best Section” at the annual Maryland State Bar Conference. In 2017, Mr. Dolina was appointed as the MSBA liaison to the Rules Committee, which provides recommendations for Rule changes to the Maryland Supreme Court .

Mr. Dolina is a graduate of the University of Maryland (B.S., 1978) and the University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D., 1981). In addition to his graduate training, Mr. Dolina has attended the Harvard School of Law Advanced Negotiation Skills Workshop.

Mr. Dolina has been recognized by the public, judges and lawyers as a model of excellence thus earning an AV Rating. He has also achieved the Lead Counsel Rating in Workers' Compensation Law and Labor & Employment Law since 2012,and named as a Super Lawyer spanning the past two decades .
